Children’s Arts Tax Credit

The Government has introduced a 15 per-cent non-refundable Children's Arts Tax Credit to better recognize the costs associated with children's artistic, cultural, recreational and developmental activities.

First-Time Home Buyers' Tax Credit

To assist first-time home buyers with the costs associated with the purchase of a home, the federal government introduced the First-Time Home Buyers’ Tax Credit (HBTC)—a $5,000 non-refundable income tax credit amount on a qualifying home.

Hiring Credit for Small Business

Economic Action Plan 2013 proposes to expand and extend the temporary Hiring Credit for Small Business.

Children's Fitness Tax Credit

A non-refundable tax credit of up to $75 per child for eligible expenses (maximum $500) of enrolling in a prescribed program of physical activity.
